Waiheke Island

Just 19 km (12 miles) off the coast of Auckland, 35 mins by ferry or 10 mins by helicopter, with stunning scenery, boutique wineries and 5 star restaurants. Named by Maori ‘cascading waters’, Waiheke Island’s unique warm maritime climate is home to some of new Zealand’s finest Bordeaux and Rhone style wines. Here we can be one-on-one with winemakers and viticulturists to taste and understand why the unique Waiheke terroir, ‘vines + soil + climate’, makes for exceptionally expressive wines of excellent varietal character to excite all tastes.

West Auckland Wine Country

50 mins west of the city is home to world-class chardonnay and other award-winning wines produced from the vineyards of West Auckland. Couple the spectacular scenery of the Waitakere Ranges and the rugged Tasman Sea surf beaches for a fabulous day so close to the city.

Matakana Wine Country

An indulgent setting for wine and food, art and nature lovers just 45 mins north of Auckland. Lush vineyards, sculpture parks, art galleries, craft breweries and beautiful white-sand beaches make for an unforgettable day.

Clevedon Coast

Auckland’s smallest wine country, 40 mins east of the city. Red wine enthusiasts only please. Think Bordeaux in Auckland. Here we’ll craft a visit to taste with the winemaker some of New Zealand’s most luxurious and age-worthy reds inspired by the Grand Crus of Pomerol and St Emilion.
